(Dec 13) Dramatic and unprecedented plumes of methane – a greenhouse gas 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide – have been seen bubbling to the surface of the Arctic Ocean. The scale and volume of the methane release has astonished the head of the Russian research team who has been surveying the seabed of the East Siberian Arctic Shelf off northern Russia for nearly 20 years. “I was most impressed by the sheer scale and high density of the plumes. Over a relatively small area we found more than 100, but over a wider area there should be thousands of them.” Scientists estimate that there are hundreds of millions of tonnes of methane gas locked away beneath the Arctic permafrost, which extends from the mainland into the seabed of the relatively shallow sea of the East Siberian Arctic Shelf. (Nov 30) As the Arctic warms, greenhouse gases will be released from thawing permafrost faster and at significantly higher levels than previous estimates, according to survey results from 41 international scientists published in the Nov. 30 issue of the journal Nature. Even if the permafrost has not thawed, at least some of the still-frozen carbon could be losing its stability. The fear is that accelerating the entry of carbon into the atmosphere could compound the warming process. And, although it would not happen overnight, it could be unstoppable once it began. (Source)
(Oct 2) Ozone loss over the Arctic this year was so severe that for the first time it could be called an “ozone hole” like the Antarctic one, scientists report. About 20km (13 miles) above the ground, 80% of the ozone was lost, they say. The cause was an unusually long spell of cold weather at altitude. “It was continuously cold from December through April, and that has never happened before in the Arctic in the instrumental record.” In cold conditions, the chlorine chemicals that destroy ozone are at their most active. In addition, the polar vortex was stronger than usual. Here, winds circulate around the edge of the Arctic region, somewhat isolating it from the main world weather systems. (Source)
(Nov 2) NASA scientists recently documented that a section of the Pine Island Glacier the size of New York City had begun breaking off into a huge iceberg. It is likely that once the iceberg floats away, the leading edge of the ice shelf will have receded farther than at any time since its location was first recorded in the 1940s. (Source)
(Dec 6) Accelerated melting of two fast-moving outlet glaciers that drain Antarctic ice into the Amundsen Sea Embayment is likely the result, in part, of an increase in sea-surface temperatures in the tropical Pacific Ocean. Melting Ice and New Earth Canopy
All things are interconnected. The Cherubs (note unusual winds and polar vortex in the articles cited above) have been diligently working at melting the ice caps at the North Pole. The ice must all be melted because our Creator will once again canopy this planet with a swaddling band of vaporous water. As the ice melts and the atmosphere becomes heavier with the waters that are evaporated and uplifted as water vapor, the earth will become interact with more volcanic activity to begin the process of creating the canopy to trap the moisture in the upper atmosphere.
Arctic sea ice is melting at its fastest pace in almost 40 years
The ozones depletion is from pollution. When something is altered in nature’s atomic structure by anyone other than Yahweh, it causes an imbalance in the cycle of life. Once this imbalance is corrected with the formation of a new canopy, the earth will thrive once again just as it did in the preflood era. Father is presently restoring things to what they once were.
Did you know that it was Yahweh’s breath that formed the polar caps? Her anger is melting them in these end times. The waters previously stored the excess in the form of ice lay the ground work for the next canopy to be put back into place. But out of Her anger a renovated earth will be the outcome. Yahweh is renovating this planet for future kingdom subjects to enjoy during the Millennium. Father is making all things new. To be in harmony brings forth the rebirth of that canopy.
Greenhouse gases, global warming, solar flares
Mankind has polluted the earth and helped to raise the temperature that contributes to the ice melt, but Yahweh’s Seraphs are speeding up the process by causing the sun to radiate large amounts of solar heat. The release of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane contributes to an increase in the overall temperature of the global climate. More dangerous and unpredictable weather such as the extreme weather experienced by the inhabitants of this planet are partly caused by global warming.
