JESUS: The Lost 40 Days
Following up last year’s “The Real Face of Jesus,” The History Channel investigates one of the most mysterious episodes in the Bible – the 40 days between resurrection and ascension. Most movie and television depictions of Jesus end with his crucifixion or resurrection, but the New Testament of the Bible tells a different story. According to the book of Acts, Jesus returns from the dead and walks among the living for 40 days. (Source)
When Christ appeared to his disciples after his resurrection, he was viewed as any man would be viewed until he spoke which gave way to his true identity except for doubting Thomas who was then shown his materialized flesh of the holes in his hands and whatever else that he might have revealed. How is this related to his earlier transfiguration? Did you ever wonder how Jesus looked like when he revealed the transfiguration of himself to his disciples? Jesus looked like how Adam and Eve looked - with the all colors of our Creator’s spectrum. Matthew 17:2-3 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB) 2 He was transformed in front of them, and His face shone like the sun. Even His clothes became as white as the light. 3 Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.
The Origin of the Human Races and The Effect of Sin
If you’re wondering about why Jesus lacked the same rainbow spectrum of colors in his human appearance please keep in mind he was brought forth in the line of decent of the Jews and because of that he represented their look in every way except that he was declared righteous by Yahweh’s own words at his baptism in water. Matthew 3:16-17 After Jesus was baptized, He went up immediately from the water. The heavens suddenly opened for Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming down on Him. And there came a voice from heaven: This is My beloved Son. I take delight in Him!
When the disciples viewed Jesus in the transfiguration on that Mount – he was then revealing what he would like upon his ascention to Mount Zion where he would be declared not only righteous but all things to all of creation in his position as our Creator’s Anointed king. Being all things to creation meant he must bear the LIGHT which contains all colors in the spectrum. Because Christ had not ascend to his Father for full purification in Heaven, he had not regained the full spectrum of colors notable to all spirits in the holy family.
1 Samuel 2:10 Those who oppose the LORD will be shattered; He will thunder in the heavens against them. The LORD will judge the ends of the earth. He will give power to His king; He will lift up the horn of His anointed.
Christ was made lower to be without what he once had – so when he was crowned with glory like he once shared with our Creator out in Eternity before the creation of this reality, and also was then glorified ever so much more as Her King – he then radiated in a full spectrum of colors for the spirit realm is a colorful glittery sparkling realm and it even so he shined and glittered considerably more than it after being crowned the Anointed king.
Hebrews 2:7 You made him lower than the angels for a short time; You crowned him with glory and honor.
John 17:5 Now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with that glory I had with You before the world existed.
John 17:24 Father, I desire those You have given Me to be with Me where I am. Then they will see My glory, which You have given Me because You loved Me before the world’s foundation.
Christ was raised up in spirit, not flesh. He also could go from that glorious spirit body, a finer matter, back to a fleshly appearance, or back to spirit energy, and vise versa as he went about finishing up his task on earth. That’s why he was able to pass through into a home with locked doors, and then appear in fleshly form once inside. Jesus had celestial energy because he revealed it to his disciples at the transfiguration while yet alive on earth prior to his sacrificial death. As a spirit, the resurrected Christ received the ability to vibrate lower and to form flesh and blood, as well as the ability to dissolve it at will and reach a higher level of existence. If you vibrate fast enough, you cannot be seen. Luke 24:31 “Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized Him, but He disappeared from their sight.” At his ascension, he then became completely spirit – no longer materializing or projecting himself as a human like he did when he appeared those number of times to his disciples after his resurrection.

From Spirit To Flesh: The Resurrected Christ and The Holy Angels
1 Peter 3:19 “In that state He also went and made a proclamation to the spirits in prison who in the past were disobedient, when God patiently waited in the days of Noah while an ark was being prepared; in it, a few—that is, eight people —were saved through water.” The “proclamation” was to notify the demons or fallen angels that he had succeeded in his mission and they were GUARANTEED the eternal death sentence. After Christ was resurrected, he (as spirit or celestial energy, not astral energy) went before the presence of angels whom he had created as the Word – those fallen from Father’s family – to inform them that he has paid the Ransom Sacrifice, and that their eternal death sentence would be carried out by him and his holy angelic forces at a predetermined time in the future.
Matthew 8:29 (HCSB) Suddenly they shouted, “What do You have to do with us, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” The demons were in fear of him, because they all know Jesus was previously in Heaven as Michael The Word. They also knew he was on an important mission to break up their leader’s works. The resurrected Christ also gave them a layout of the new ground rules and rules of engagement that would come with him occupying two positions as both Michael the Word and the King Christ Jesus. He also made it known that authorities and powers were now made subject to him, including how Satan Dawn Lucifer and the demons conducted themselves from that point on during the continuance of this Spiritual War.
