Massive Sinkhole In China: Ground Cave-in Damages Nearly 100 Homes
(May 14) Rescuers said that nearly 100 homes were damaged and some were toppled by a sinkhole in South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on May 10. An initial investigation showed the ground collapse on Thursday covered 40,000 square meters in the village of Liuzhou. It damaged 94 houses, eight of which collapsed, an official with the rescue headquarters said yesterday. Some 85,000 square meters around the sinkhole has been declared a danger zone. Experts said that sinkholes are relatively common in some areas in Guangxi, which are known to be karst topography, where the underlying soil is eroded causing the top layer to subside. (Source)
So far this month, there have been at least five reports of massive sinkholes threatening to swallow homes across the globe in China, Florida/US, Thailand, Vietnam.

Are all things interconnected? We don’t have all the answers but we know we must keep watch, and we must learn how to discern the signs of the time. Matthew 24:42 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB) “Therefore be alert, since you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.”
